by Joe Murgia – @TheUfoJoe on Twitter

In the summer of 2020, Luis Elizondo, the former head of the Pentagon’s UFO program, joined Twitter and proceeded to make his first tweet on August 22nd. I went back and collected every relevant tweet he made between that day and his most recent one on February 3rd, 2021. For folks not on Twitter, this will give you a glimpse into the man I feel is the most important cog in the spinning wheel of UFO disclosure.

Since tweets have a habit of disappearing and accounts get suspended for various reasons, I decided to copy and paste everything instead of linking to the actual tweets. I tried to fix all spelling and punctuation errors from Lue and anyone who tweeted questions and comments at him.

Hope some folks find this useful.

~~~
@LueElizondo: My pledge to you:
1. I will always tell you the truth
2. I will own my mistakes and hold myself accountable
3. Everyone will be treated with respect, no matter their position
4. Abuse or hatred towards others will not be tolerated
5. I will always push for full disclosure.
ElizondoGreetings all and thank you sincerely for all your support over the last three years. It’s been one heck of a journey we have had together,  and I look forward to our future endeavors.  As a team, we are formidable, but as an army, we are unstoppable! Although time does not permit me to respond to all, please know I’m reading each comment. There is enough room here on the bridge of the ship for all, and each one of you has a vital role. Onward until morning!
The outpouring is truly incredible. In the coming days, I will try to respond to some of your questions. Know that MY mission is to ensure YOUR voice is heard…in the military, in the media, in Government, in the Halls of Congress, and around the planet.
~~~

@ZenModeTrading: You are a real patriot, Lue! Being dedicated to truth and keeping America safe is noble! My hat goes off to you sir! History will remember you fondly.

Elizondo: Zen, if we do this properly, history will remember ALL of us fondly because we are all involved in this effort together. This includes you, and the rest of Twitter who are part of the grass roots effort to know the truth. You are making a difference!

~~~
@WiTrudell: Will there be follow-up in the future on your trip to Italy – where they said there was a radio frequency that could be used for contact’?
Elizondo: We are certainly hoping to provide that information in the future. There is lots more that was never shown.
~~~

@ThisMom40811294: Any other books you’d recommend reading?

Elizondo: The second story in the “Chains of the Sea” series, by Gardner Dozois for a unique take: recommended to me by a good friend, Doug Johnson.

~~~
@DarkstarIE: Are we any closer to definitively ruling out Russia or China? It seems these UAPs and their observables are very different to any technology we have ever seen. How do we rule out adversarial tech, and start accepting this is something highly unusual?
Elizondo: It is a complex problem, but framing the question against the known observables helps us rule out the probability of something being made by a foreign adversary, and asking the question if we are dealing with something completely different.
~~~

Elizondo: Friends, as many of you know, I am apolitical and respect points made by both sides, but can we agree that Disclosure should be a bipartisan issue? I’m glad that most of you feel Disclosure is a non-political issue. Thanks to massive help from @ChristopherKMe4, we continue to engage all sides of government.

~~~
Elizondo: Friends, we are working diligently on Phase II of our efforts to validate this topic. We now MUST engage our international friends and partners. As you already know, this is not only a U.S. phenomenon, it is indeed global.  Is the international stage ready? I think so. As we mentioned, Phase II is in swing. Some savvy folks on Twitter found this. Glad that the conversation is becoming global thanks in part to you all! This is going to be a crazy ride, for sure, better hang on 😉
Another Easter Egg – Engagement = governmental, political, academic, scientific, military, domestic and international. Choose your favorite, or all the above…
~~~

Elizondo: If I were stuck on a lifeboat, I want it big enough for all of #UFOTwitter. Despite our differences, together we are making change happen. I am truly honored we are on this journey together. More news coming soon!

~~~
Elizondo: Thanks to Cmdr. Dave Fravor, Lt. Cmdr. Jim Slaight and countless others – the hero’s voice is being heard from the battlefields to the halls of Congress! Can’t wait for the others I worked with to come out of the shadows! The fun is just beginning.
~~~

@_jraza: Documentaries, studies, MSM attention are all good, but UFO Disclosure will forever remain stuck in the fringes until the day DoD decides to release clear images of a UFO displaying observables; get those images declassified and the world changes instantly.

Elizondo: Orrrr…people decide to take the topic of disclosure into their own hands and demand their Government do what it is intended to do…protect and INFORM its citizens. BTW, there is A LOT more than just those videos and photos! I am confident, as time progresses, more will follow.

~~~
Elizondo: Folks, I am normally silent and careful not to endorse products (even if I support them); however, I am making an exception in this case. Although not part of the production, the movie by [James] Fox “The Phenomenon” is the one worth watching. It says things I cant! It’s accurate its, verified, and it’s REAL! I know this because while at the Pentagon, we had the files. Yes, many of you will already know SOME of the information, but not all of it. Literally thousands of files have yet to be released that only bolster this production.  Once they are, you will realize just how on the mark this movie is. Knowing now what it takes to make a quality production, I am amazed by the access that was gained by the Producers and the Director. Something tells me this is only the beginning!  Bravo Mr. Fox and Dan! For the record, I had absolutely nothing to do with this production. There is NOTHING in it for me…that is why I feel I can honestly endorse this effort. I am a neutral party. In fact, my role as AATIP Director is almost unnoticed. This story pertains to “all of us” IMHO. I really do believe you will enjoy this film. It provides the human element, which is something rarely seen in efforts such as this. I think most will agree when watching…we are on the precipice; as most have already assumed. Something to show friends & family. Definitely takes the stigma out of the conversation and puts the focus on us government-types that have kept the secret WAY too long! This movie reinforces the obvious coverup that I was privy to…and you all were victim.
@PaulDaalen: Victim?
 Elizondo: Arghhhh…trying really hard to go to bed…BUT! I feel this is important. Yes, “victim.” I say this because people in certain positions are expected to have access to information. But, what if that info. was purposely kept from them? Now what? And then, that person finds out the truth? Now what? Imagine being the guy who has “all the secrets” only to find out later that you really don’t? And neither does your boss! What do you do in that case? Well, most bureaucrats simply move on. Well…not Chris [Mellon]! He took his oath to the American people seriously and decided to pursue the truth doggedly. Until, at some point much later one, he found the office he was looking for. Imagine the frustration and anger he must have felt after realizing there was, indeed, a UFO office in the Pentagon? Now consider the fact that Chris had the job of “knowing all the secrets,” but this is one secret he wouldn’t be allowed to know. Is this illegal? Is this unethical? Is this rogue?  All appropriate questions, indeed. But, nevertheless, rather than “burn down the barn,” he decided to take the high road and use the USG bureaucracy against itself. In my opinion, this is the trait of a true strategic master, and artist, an intellectual. So with no guarantees or promises, Chris decides to risk his entire family’s future to bring the truth to the American people and the world.  I tell you what, if that man ever ran for office now, you bet your a$$ I would vote for him! Chris is exactly what I hope to be one day!  No exaggeration..
 @DiscoVolante8: Was @ChristopherKMe4 privy to that cover up? He’s stated that there was no cover up in a podcast (non-TTSA related) if I recall correctly.  Would be good to know everyone is level set now.
Elizondo: Chris Mellon is by far one of the most respectable human beings I have EVER had the privilege and honor to know. I don’t say this lightly because I have served with the best. He is part of disclosure, not the coverup. He has put on the line, EVERYTHING, including reputation, fortune, and future to bring you the truth. He is a patriot, a gentleman, and an incredible citizen. In fact, when the world finally realizes what Chris REALLY did for his country and the planet, he will be remembered for a very, very long time. Most has yet to be said.
@DrAdamKehoe: These comments last night were probably thrilling for some. To me, they are beyond frustrating. Advertising for a movie on Twitter is not really the place to allege crimes — while declaring yourself a potential accessory to them. Sadly, it follows a pattern. A site with a big “Invest Now” button is not a place to slyly *tease* a criminal conspiracy and dangerous intelligence failure. If there was a cover-up, it is a deadly serious matter. If Mr. Elizondo was “privy” to one, he should speak in a clear voice, and bring any and all documents he can. And not in the course of advertising for a film. It makes little sense to make a public accusation and simultaneously refuse to testify or provide evidence to *protect* the institutions committing the crime. Selectively hiding behind security oaths is unacceptable; do this via whistle-blower protections if needed. As it stands, if there is a conspiracy, Mr. Elizondo has made it easier for it to survive. He would arguably be one of the best witnesses and he has tainted his testimony by intermingling his own financial interests with the case. I’ll almost certainly hear from advocates of “Disclosure.” I hope they understand that these comments are hardly helpful for their cause. My commitment is to the rule of law and transparency, and sadly, it requires calling bullshit from officials when you see it.
Elizondo: Mr. Keyhoe, I truly appreciate your insights and hope you are fair minded. I understand your frustration with my statements regarding “coverup,” but please understand I gave up career because others in the government were not willing to have the conversation. Either by neglect or fear, either way, the information was suppressed. Whether implicitly or explicitly, the refusal to do your lawful duty, in my opinion, is abandonment. Whether someone is explicit or complicit in the act, I still feel those parties are part of the coverup, if not part of the solution. I truly respect your opinion, and maybe one day history will judge me as having some responsibility of that same coverup. Maybe I could have come out sooner? Maybe I could have said more? The list of possibilities is endless. And, if that is the case, I accept that as my fate. However, please know that I truly tried my best to work within the system, and it was only when that system failed, did I decide to come forward. I say this because I believe all opinions matter and the fact you voiced your opinion about my involvement in a coverup, I sincerely hope that folks know it was never intentional and it was only after I failed within the system did I decide to go outside it. Thank you sincerely for your position and I mean that most heartfelt. I am very fortunate you are part of our humble group and know that your opinion is valued.
@LtTimMcMillan: I agree with you, [Dr. Keyhoe]. Lue’s choice of words last night was arguably not the best. However, I’ll give you my thoughts. First of all, the word “cover up” can carry varied meanings. In the “UFO world,” the term is often considered synonymous purposeful obfuscation and/or criminal withholding of information that represents something of massive significance such as visitation of “off-world” beings to planet earth. Indeed, as you pointed out it evokes imagery of sinister Men in Black, etc. Now, it is my opinion and @LueElizondo would have to be the one to provide exact clarity, but just from past conversations with him, I’d bet he was using the term “cover-up” as being synonymous with what I often describe as “willful apathy” or the act of easily dismissing and not considering events that seem implausible. It’s my genuine belief that the actual intent by the tweet you highlighted was neither implying anything as sinister as you might have interpreted it, nor as thrilling as some may have seen it as confirmation the government had 9 flying saucers at Area 51.
@DrAdamKehoe: The exact question now is:
A) Is the problem bureaucratic intransigence?
B) Or is there an overt cover-up, including obstructing lawful oversight?
B) Is an *enormous* claim, that I normally wouldn’t find particularly credible, except he appears to have raised it.
Elizondo: What if it’s a little bit of both? What if there is an option C, “all of the above.”  I wont elaborate…but its not a binary “either-or” answer. I believe that is a far too simplistic. Mr. McMillan is correct, there was gross bureaucratic malfeasance, but more issues as well.
~~~

@Craftmeatl: On pure speculation as to what they are, I think something Platonic. My friend at FAA says time travel.

Elizondo: Hmmmmmm…..time and space are inseparable. flex space, you flex time…and vice versa.

~~~
@TheUfoJoe – Joe Murgia – Hi Lue. Have you ever discussed the alleged UAP Crash Retrieval Program w/Dr. Eric Davis or anybody else who claims to have info. about said program? Also, did u know about the infamous Wilson/Davis notes/doc before it “leaked” from Dr. Mitchell’s estate? What’s your opinion on them?
Elizondo: Eric worked for me  🙂  I know him very well.  He is a good, decent man and held very senior positions, not to mention one of my chief scientists in AATIP. I can assure you…Eric is “the real deal.” He is far too humble to tell you who he is and what he did…but I read the reports. He was one of the trusted few, and this was BEFORE AATIP! Mark my words, one day, people will now the truth about this exceptional man. He is a patriot!
~~~

@mahakaal101295: How would you describe the Disclosure process as of now. The community is divided into two factions now. One which claims these beings are peaceful and the other one says they are a threat. Is any one of them correct or both are correct to some extent.

Elizondo: Both may be correct. My question to you is this: “Is your neighbor a threat”? Well, that depends on what you are trying to achieve and if its complimentary or antagonistic to his/her agenda?  I believe the answer is:  We really don’t know yet. For me? I don’t like to gamble…

~~~
@yrraplliw: Can I ask what makes you think you will have any more joy outside the system than within it?
Elizondo: This journey has nothing to do with “joy” in my opinion. It has to do with truth, transparency, and our future. In fact, some of this topic is far removed from the idea of “joy.” From my perspective (only mine), I feel this is a lose-lose situation for me personally. But it’s truth that allows us to evolve as a species. The fact remains, I was unsuccessful “inside” the system, and only time will tell if I was successful “outside” the system. There are no guarantees in life as they say, other than death and taxes. But, so far, so good.
@yrraplliw: I should explain that “having joy” is a common British idiom which essentially means “success.” I just wondered how you envisage achieving that success as a private individual, in a manner that was not possible as a government employee?
Elizondo: My apologies. For the record, I LOVE the UK! Served with many SAS folks! Sorry for misunderstanding your question.  As such, please allow me to provide you a “proper” answer 😉 Frankly speaking, I am not sure if I will have any more or less success on the outside; however, if time were a fair judge of progress (which it sometimes isn’t) I think we have come farther in 3 years than in any other time. Our ability to engage the pubic (whereas before I was prohibited) allows me to provide data and information to those who really matter, the American people. Of course the rest of the world is equally important, but my focus is first with my country because we have been the most obstinate about the topic. Insofar as actually destroying people’s careers and reputations for even considering the topic. At least on the outside, if I get squelched, there will be a lot of questions to answer because we are doing this effort in broad daylight (so to speak) and in front of the public as witness. Hope this clarifies things.  Sorry for the confusion!
~~~

@LouiseDArcy1: Hi Mr Elizondo. Having watched TTSA’s “Unidentified” and now “The Phenomenon” where there is mention of negative aspects of this phenomenon we are dealing with,  I can’t help but ask if you could possibly expand on the comment “this topic is far removed from the idea of joy”?

Elizondo: Louise, I owe you an answer.  It’s complicated, but let me think about it. It’s a good question and I want to take time to answer it as best I can. Great Question!

~~~
@bobofango86: Any new interviews or podcasts for us to look forward to? Really enjoyed the two episodes on the Sara Carter Show and the one on Military Matters.
Elizondo: Doing a private interview with a high school tomorrow with Steve Justice. We speak to kids as much as possible. A wise man once said, “Despite gold, resources, and wealth, the greatest nation is but one generation away from ruin if not for its children.” Let’s invest in our kids so they don’t make the same mistakes we did. Answer: Yes, but still arranging it. We in TTSA have been busy working with charities lately and schools. It’s part of our B-corp status; we try to give back any way we can. We don’t advertise it, it’s just the right thing to do.
@LouiseDArcy1After seeing “Unidentified,” @PhenomenonMovie and @tomdelonge interviews I would like to ask if you could expand upon what you know about the negative aspects related to “the others” and the implications of that for all of us. Thank you so much!
Elizondo: Louise, I promised you an answer a few weeks ago and haven’t forgot! Will be asked this again today, most likely, but I want to respond to you directly. The term “negative aspects” is something different for everybody. To some, it’s a philosophical challenge to their existing belief system, while for others, it’s the idea that we are not at the top of the proverbial food chain technologically speaking, and for other so-called “experiencers,” there are claimed physical, mental, and emotional consequences. Not even considering the social implications, organized institutions and organizations like religion and government. So when I say “negative,” it’s a bit subjective because phenomenon means something different to each person. However, on the other side of the argument, there is hope, knowledge and understanding 🙂
~~~

@dansim8: In regard to the oversight of black budget programs discussed in @PhenomenonMovie, have you or @ChristopherKMe4 or ever heard the term “core secret” used anywhere in the DOD or elsewhere to describe one of these black programs?  Is that an official term?

Elizondo: Dan, not that I am aware of. We use codewords but I can’t elaborate on that.

~~~
@SicCoP1: The recent hard work of @blackvaultcom has shown that the Pentagon may be against any more transparency on the topic of UAPs for the foreseeable future. What do you make of the Pentagon’s seeming stonewalling of the topic?
Elizondo: John has done a wonderful job for the UFO community (despite some differences we may have had). I believe he may be correct that the Pentagon is clamping down. BUT, they have also been more forthcoming than before. I have mixed feelings. On one hand they are more open. On the other hand, they have dug themselves in deeper and tried to disparage those of us former Government-types pushing for disclosure.
~~~

@b329496424: ANY chance that the Hunter Biden laptops have any UAP information on them? What about the Anthony Weiner laptop? How many of Tom’s emails were released by Wikileaks?

Elizondo: Unfortunately, I cant speculate what was on those laptops given they were/are part of an investigation. However, I suspect there was not much in the way of UAP info. As for WikiLeaks, I am unable to discuss those details. Great question!

~~~
@SicCoP1: In this unique time where the topic of UAPs is only getting more popular, what is the most effective thing we, the public, can do to help make this topic be taken more seriously by our leaders and the public at large?
Elizondo: You are doing exactly what needs to be done! Talk about this topic openly, [engage with?] fair minded citizens. Demand your government take this seriously and let your elected officials know they should, too. You are making GREAT progress. In 3 years, you have achieved more than in 70, IMHO!
~~~

@Anomaly66775385: Is there any data or info. that points toward a possible theory regarding what the UAP in the Nimitz incident were doing or trying to accomplish in the area?

Elizondo: Yes…but not sure if it’s nuclear related (i.e. Nuclear propulsion, nuclear weapons, nuclear power generation, etc) or if it’s good old-fashioned H2O that relates to the Tic-Tac incident…or something entirely different we have yet to consider that is a possibility.

~~~
@Pawn37: Lue, you told @DavidMarceau you saw some things in AATIP you were privy to that “there’d be no question what it is.” Can you elaborate on this statement? What is it? Who knows the government has it? How can Congress see it?
Elizondo: Yes, indeed. I saw compelling data that demonstrably proves the reality of UAPs. I believe some in Congress have already seen this evidence for themselves. Probably why they are taking it seriously.
~~~

@ThrowawayUfo: With the U.S. Presidential election less than a month away, do you think a possible change in administrations is helpful or hurtful to the cause of disclosure?

Elizondo: As I have said before, I believe this topic is a-political. As such, both parties should be armed with the necessary knowledge to lead our country. UAPs is no exception. Let’s not forget that Trump has already been briefed and Harris was on the SSCI.

~~~
@a51s1: You’ve mentioned something along the lines about ‘the government testing psychotronic weapons/PSYOPS on the public. In the event of “disclosure,” would there be justifications for those affected by those programs and problems they created?
Elizondo: We must always be held accountable for our past sins to ensure we don’t do it again. It’s too early to tell, but depending how this goes, there may be some folks having to answer some serious questions.
~~~

@fendergreen27: Hi Lue, a few times I’ve heard you say that it’s not important what you guys (at TTSA) think about the the info on UAPs, but instead it’s us the listeners whose options count here. Can you explain what you mean by that?

Elizondo: My job at TTSA is to: 1-collect the truth, 2- speak the truth. This is a conversation that MUST be inclusive. Like a court of law, my opinion doesn’t matter as an investigator. What matters is you, the jury!

~~~
@blakemecakes: The president, earlier this week, mentioned new military technologies that he states are “the likes of which nobody has ever had,” when he was asked if there are UFOs. Could these new technologies have anything to do with UFO tech that hasn’t seen the light of day, yet?
Elizondo: No necessarily. As POTUS, one never wants to let the adversary know what we have and don’t have. Remaining non-committal is an effective strategy at times. Whether I agree with it, it’s not my call, but I respect the decision to not say too much until we learn more.
~~~

@SteUFOnotCGULLS: Do you think the UAPTF will be able to reveal more encounters in between the Nimitz and Roosevelt, with videos or any encounters still happening to this day? Fravor’s wingman said these encounters have never stopped.

Elizondo: She is correct. The encounters haven’t stopped. But the role of the Task Force is to look at new incidents, not necessarily old ones. For this reason, I hope you will all get to see even more compelling cases with even better footage.

~~~
@OddFlyingThing: When does your Non-Disclosure Agreement expire? Do you still have to submit to polygraph tests? If so, how often?
Elizondo: My NDA is lifetime, as those with clearances can attest. Only when information becomes Unclassified, can I talk about it. Yes, I am still subject to polygraphs and periodic reinvestigations.
~~~

@mikedamante: “Do you think that the UAP/UFO topic can get lost in shuffle in D.C. with election, a possible constitutional crisis, and the pandemic just to name a few big issues?

Elizondo: We are already living in crazy times (COVID, Terrorism, Social Anxiety, Political Strife, and questionable economy) and yet, this topic still makes front page news. I think once things settle down, expect an even greater interest.

~~~
@Aida_x: Are we witnessing different facets of one intelligence?
Elizondo: Holly smoke, great questions!  There is compelling data to suggest both, as crazy as it seems. This is the topic of an entire podcast, simply too complex for Twitter. If you want, ask TTSA to have a TTSATalk on this subject, I love that idea!
~~~

@cptarkennedy: Lue, Can you tell us more about the connection of the White Buffalo Calf Woman, the Lakota Nation and it current relation to the Bledsoe events studied by multiple U.S. government entities?

Elizondo: Indigenous people have always had a close, spiritual connection to nature and our world. I would never presume to speak on behalf of indigenous people but I hold a deep and profound respect for their approach.

~~~
@The_Real_Klaatu: Did your time/experience at AATIP fundamentally change your personal beliefs, philosophy or outlook on life, or did it simply reaffirm those things for you? What effect do you think this same information would have on the general population? Positive, negative or indifference?
Elizondo: I had no preconceived notion as to what the phenomenon is or isn’t. In fact, I never gave it much thought – my job always kept me focused on other topics. However, once I saw the data, it was irrefutable to me that we’re dealing with something completely outside of our understanding.
~~~

@Taishi59936407 Would you think that there is something UAP related deep inside our ocean/underwater? Since there’s been witnesses of unknown submerged objects… including the Nimitz incident. I’d like to know your assumption.

Elizondo: Certainly possible, we know very little about our deep waters and always are discovering something new. Another option could be that H2O may serve as a precursor for some type of fuel and propulsions system.

~~~
@jeff5647a: You recently told @DavidMarceau that there’s a lot more (info) to come, but that decision must me made mutually, not unilaterally.  Any insight you can share on the parties that would be involved in that mutual decision? How can the public help?
Elizondo: Progress requires all parties to move forward together. No different than an elephant walking and making sure his/her feet are coordinated. In this case, it’s society, politics, media, scientific and academic communities, international organizations (UN, NATO, etc).
~~~

@smiley22432: Will 2021 surpass 2020 in terms of moving closer to disclosure? 2020 was a big year with the Davis memo going mainstream and new NYT articles. Also, have any more compelling UAP witnesses come forward after Unidentified S2 aired?

Elizondo: It’s always hard to make accurate predictions about the future…but, if the past is any telltale, I think we are on a very good trajectory!

~~~
@JonMajerowski: You have been awarded several patents. What drives you to invent and do you have a favorite patent that you were awarded?
Elizondo: My favorite patent was my first one. My drawing kept getting rejected because of smudges and dirt. It’s hard to keep your submission clean when you live in a tent and are in a desert at war, lol
~~~

@Audacit58711150: Just curious to know if it is the information you have learned about the Phenomenon that is classified or is it how you obtained that information that is classified? Or both?

Elizondo: Information is classified to protect sources and methods. Meaning, “What,” “How,” “Where,” and “Who” can all be classified. In short, both aspects CAN be classified but mostly it’s the “how” aspect that remains most sensitive.

~~~
@IsovMesmer: Have you ever looked at the data from NIDS on Skinwalker Ranch? Did you ever see the data from the DoD on Skinwalker Ranch? Is the TTSA interested in High Strangeness cases?
Elizondo: I want to be careful here. I have always maintained a firewall between AATIP and AAWSAP. Am I aware? Yes. Was it my entire focus? No.
~~~

@RichMartinESX: Does the team have any awareness of previous attempts to put the UAP issue openly on the mainstream political agenda?

Elizondo: Not that I am personally aware of, but I am pretty sure someone will prove me wrong 🙂  Like the Citizens Hearing in 2010.

~~~
@torbjorn_l: In an interview, you alluded to the book “Chains of the Sea” providing a new “perspective of the phenomena.” Could you please elaborate a bit, since the UAP-Sea connection seems rather obvious at this point.
Elizondo: “Chains of the Sea” has little to do with the sea and more to do with the possibility of an Ultraterrestrial universe. My recommendation for the book (2nd of 3 short stories) is the way in which the story (fiction) is told. Forces the reader to consider other possibilities about the nature of the phenomenon.
~~~

@5X5_NEWS: All 3 UAP videos released by TTSA have been debunked by several researchers now. Can you please directly address the actual points brought up and not dodge the questions anymore? This can get very serious for TTSA soon if not addressed properly and thoroughly.

Elizondo: “Debunked,” I don’t think so. Not even close. We had the best at DoD and the Intelligence Community look at these videos, and I mean “the best.” Anyone can call themselves an expert these days and “prove” that any video is fake or a seagull. If that is the case, we need to fire the entire DoD and U.S. intelligence apparatus. Oh, add also other foreign countries national security experts. Oh, and the Congress people who have been briefed. Oh, and the Navy while we are at it.

@5X5_NEWS: Can you please explain why TTSA, still to this day, claims that “GoFast” is an unidentified fast-moving object close to the ocean surface when using the information supplied in the video shows it is actually at above 13,000 feet and moving less than 40mph?

Elizondo: Because that is pure conjecture by those who told you that. Some of us actually spoke to the pilots, pulled the radar data, and reviewed other footage. Remember, it’s never just one source of information that we use.

~~~
@Jay09784691: On an earlier version of the TTSA website, you were listed as having experience/education in “parasitology.” Can you elaborate? Does it have any relation to the “hitchhikers” from places like Skinwalker? If not, can you share thoughts on the “hitchhikers”?
Elizondo: I have research/college experience in the areas of Microbiology (small critters), Immunology (our response to small critters), and Parasitology (small, BAD critters). This experience has helped me better understand bizarre, living organisms that seem to defy mother nature. “Extremophiles.”
~~~

@IsovMesmer: Is there an esoteric or occult aspect to the UAP phenomenon? Is there a religious or spiritual aspect to the phenomenon? CLB? Is this being looked into by anyone you know?

Elizondo: Absolutely, there is a cult aspect to this. Just look at Twitter! There are people creating false narratives and creating cottage industries based upon ignorance and human susceptibility. It is these efforts I detest most about the topic. It’s not the phenomenon’s fault, it’s people.

~~~
@junglist1973: I tagged you in a tweet in regards to NDAs as it has been a source of debate since you mentioned it. And since TTSA is fundamentally about Disclosure, NDAs are literally the polar opposite to this. How do you propose that this can be worked around, if at all?
Elizondo: Not sure if there is a “best way” to work around this. I simply have to make sure I walk a very fine line. One that doesn’t violate my trust with the American People, OR, my oath to the U.S. Government. Definitely not easy.
~~~

@JonMajerowski: What was the catalyst for you to finally join Twitter? Can you get Steve Justice to join?

Elizondo: I want to be accessible to the people I hold myself accountable [to]. In this case, you all. See my “golden rules”  I believe this is a journey that all are welcome to join, and if the boat isn’t big enough, then I guess “we’re going to need a bigger boat.”

~~~
@TheUndeadGaucho: Is it possible that the phenomenon itself does not want disclosure? Why is it that whatever is behind this technology has not deduced a way to make open, transparent contact with our species?
Elizondo: This is absolutely possible. But it may not be for the reasons some people think. We must remain open minded. As my Dad used to say: “Careful jumping into the sea when you see fins in the water.” Maybe we are the sharks?
~~~

@BenediktOrn: You mentioned recently that you were looking forward to people you work(ed) with in the Pentagon to come out of the shadows. Can we expect others to becoming vocal in the public, like you guys are? That would be a powerful way of keeping the momentum going!

Elizondo: That depends on how much crap they get if/when they come out. They’ve seen the ways I & others have been treated so far, & in some cases it’s prevented others from coming forward. Some in the press and blogs haven’t been kind to guys like me. Hopefully, that is beginning to change.

~~~
@IsovMesmer: Do you think it is possible for high-ranking officials and intelligence agents involved in UAP/UFOs to become compromised (damning information that is used against the individual if they do not comply with those who oppose their actions)? How widespread is this? Could certain compromised individuals drastically effect the UAP/UFO flow of information?
Elizondo: Yes, as human beings we are all susceptible to “compromise” both in our private lives and our professional ones. Whether its family, money, status, or other influences. The key is to destigmatize this topic to where some of those barriers are removed.
~~~

@JonMajerowskiSay full out, worldwide disclosure happens tomorrow, what happens to TTSA? Will the objectives and missions stay the same or evolve?

Elizondo: I believe we must always adjust, adapt, and evolve with the times. Mother nature shares insight and we must include it in our future calculations.

~~~
@jaime_higgs: Do you have any plans in TTSA in partnering with other international UAP agencies? South America’s CEFAA for example.
Elizondo: We are ALWAYS looking for new opportunities to partner with other organizations with similar goals. Our trips to Europe and South America have served as a wonderful catalyst. We are working diligently behind the scenes and hopefully [that will] be made public in the not too distant future.
~~~

@ArronKendall2: What is your genuine opinion on the Roswell incident? Also, the incident from Italy in 2004, involving a crashed helicopter? Real or not real?

Elizondo: Respectfully, my opinion doesn’t count here. What counts is yours. I believe the evidence is interesting and compelling but I will withhold any public opinion on the matter out of respect to you and others. My job is simply to “collect the truth” and “speak the truth.”

~~~
@Akam1129: Some Senators and Congressmen have been briefed. What were the criteria for these selections, for what steps to come in the process?
Elizondo: Committees! It’s all about the committees. We prefer to spend our time and attention addressing those which are relevant to our national security. Congress is divided and focused on many different issues. As such, some are less relevant than others as they relate to the phenomenon.
~~~

@natalia082014: What is the status of The ADAM Research Project? Does TTSA have a timeline or vision of the future? I can recall Tom mentioning a propulsion system is under construction.

Elizondo: I will respectfully defer this question to my colleagues, Steve Justice and Hal Puthoff. These decisions are squarely within their wheelhouse:)

~~~
@Akam1129: The U.S. Congress is now interested in this issue,. Do you know if other countries are preparing to study it at a political-level, publicly? Or, if this question could interest the United Nations soon?
Elizondo: Simply put, YES! Take the recent effort with Japan as an example.We are making great progress!
~~~

@neareo_bots: The Pentagon has declassified the FLIR, Go Fast & Gimbal videos this year and acknowledged their authenticity. The videos are highly compressed, even though cockpit instruments record in much higher resolution. Why aren’t they releasing crisper HD videos?

Elizondo: Unfortunately, that is a question for the Pentagon. I wish I could answer that!

~~~
@GMak78: Are there any plans by the network for a Season 3 of “Unidentified“?
Elizondo: I am unable to comment. But if you really liked the show and its content, my advice would be to launch a campaign with A&E and History Channel, telling them you want more. It all comes down to viewership. If you don’t watch, they wont play  🙁
~~~

@GMak78: In Season 1 of “Unidentified,” you and your team received data from a corresponding, investigatory team in Italy. Are there any plans to openly share this data with the public?

Elizondo: Yep! Working on the best, most effective way to do it…i.e. VAULT and SCOUT.

~~~
@Danillussa: In addition to the Senate briefings, have there been briefings with scientists as well? Also, why are you not inviting, for example, Elon Musk and Jim Bridenstine to a big round table where they’re exposed to all the evidence?
Elizondo: I am working on a proposal now on this very idea.
~~~

@JonMajerowski: What is one of the biggest challenges that TTSA’s Science & Technology Division faces in regards to completing its mission?

Elizondo: I will let Steve and Hal answer that one. 🙂

~~~
@Danillussa: What do you think about the [now defunct] TV show Project Blue Book? Did you find yourself in similar situations as Dr. Hynek did?
Elizondo: I respect the work of Dr. Hynek tremendously. However, since Blue Book is a somewhat fictionalized account, I don’t know what he really had to endure. If he experienced just 1/10th of what I did, I feel deeply sorry for him. It’s not a fun ride.
~~~

@MusicAndTruth: You mentioned “The Phenomenon” movie, and for many people, the Ariel School kids were a highlight. Is there anything in your work you’ve learned that adds additional credibility or lends credence to what we saw there?

Elizondo: Children are often great sources of information because they have not been exposed to tradecraft or deceptive behavior techniques and countermeasures. As a result, what you see is what you get with kids. Body language and voice inflection are critical. I saw no signs of deception.

~~~
@beauerichooper: Did your time at AATIP change your opinion on the existence of life after death?
Elizondo: Whoah! Heavy question! Ummm…maybe. Let me think about that for a while. This requires a careful and thoughtful response and I am not sure I am qualified to make it. After all, it’s only my opinion.
~~~

@B_to_the_rice: How can we discern real vs disinformation?

Elizondo: Disinformation never stands the test of time where as real information does. The truth has nothing to hide.

~~~
@DavegiudiceDave: When does your government NDA expire? Or does it?
Elizondo: Never…unfortunately.
~~~

@bryannjones: What do you think the most logical and likely progression will look like, in the advancement of awareness that will lead to disclosure? Can it somehow be outside of government? Speculative best guesses welcome. People want to hear it brother!

Elizondo: I think we are well on the path already. This topic is only becoming a successful campaign because the people demand it. It’s this demand for truth that is driving otherwise risk-averse politicians and bureaucrats to have the conversation. In short, progression looks like this.

~~~
@Apgiram: Has President Trump been reliably briefed on the phenomenon and are there plans to brief Biden should he win?
Elizondo: Can’t confirm or deny…but I think you probably know already;)
~~~

@SithVincentV: You mentioned UAP patterns useful for investigating. With equipment ready and in place, are Naval ships being used as bait? Let’s call it coincident deployment.

Elizondo: Fantastic question! And unfortunately, one I am not at liberty to elaborate on at this time. But…keep asking this question, its a very important one!

That comment from Lue is one of the reasons this excellent article written.

Check it out:

On ‘Baiting’ the UFO Trickster & the Control System Hypothesis”

~~~
@OddFlyingThing: IF the AATIP staff didn’t have the required clearance on information that regarded the origin of the UAPs, WHY did you mention the phenomena as being “off-world”? What’s the criteria for labeling these objects as extraterrestrial?
Elizondo: AATIP HAD the required clearances regarding the origin, the issue was no one actually knew the answer. And…let’s not confuse the term “extraterrestrial” with “interdimensional“, “superterrestrial“, or “ultraterrestrial.” Lots of other options than simply, “them aliens out there.”
~~~

@PederNeogard: I was wondering if there are any more videos coming with good quality? For the general public, those grainy videos that you can hardly make out with a little white dot makes them just laugh.

Elizondo: Videos are entertaining and make for great discussion, but it’s only part of the story. As much as people want more and better videos, I think that will happen only when the government has a plan to address the issue. The good news is that the conversation is happening.

Related tweet from February 20th.

~~~
@domp_1: Why hide retrieved crafts from us? “Classified” seems to be a convenient excuse for another agenda.
Elizondo: You are correct, sometimes the classification system has been abused to hide the truth or minimize embarrassment. But in the case of UAPs, I think it may be even a bit more complicated than that. Frustrating? Yes! Deliberate? Not necessarily.
~~~

@BrandonNbminc: When will there be real disclosure?

Elizondo: Respectfully, I’m not sure I understand your question? Only because we (you and I ) may not agree on what real disclosure means. No disrespect intended…but the definition of disclosure may mean something different to each person.

~~~
Elizondo: Folks, another wonderful and engaging time with you on Twitter! I am your biggest fan! Your questions were all fantastic! For those I did not address, I will do my best in the coming days/weeks separately.  Thank you again for everything.  Be Safe, Be Well, and Be You!
~~~

Elizondo: THANK YOU @RyanSprague51 for the signed copy of your @SomewhereSkies book! I will be reading these witness accounts and displaying the book proudly!

~~~
Elizondo: For all my fellow veterans, and non-veterans, I was cleaning out some old files and came across a much younger and handsomer version of myself, lol.
~~~

@gammaraybeam: I wish you would drop the term disclosure, you know it is used to push a lot of nonsensical scenarios in which we sit on flying saucers with our family ready to reclaim one of the billions of billions of planets out there or we suddenly cure cancer with alien technology.

Elizondo: Fair enough…ideas for a new term we can all get behind?

(How about we steal the Joe Firmage title, “The Truth”? ~Joe)

~~~
@Elizondo: More excellent work from Tim & Co at “The Debrief”. Glad they are on our side of disclosure, whew! “Fast Movers and Transmedium Vehicles – The Pentagon’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force.” Please be patient, lots of traffic to the site and may be something else at play may be preventing broad access. Intriguing to say the least. To be continued…
@RealCSharp: Page not found….hmmm
@Elizondo: Yes, interesting isn’t it? I suspect we may find out more later on why it’s not currently accessible. Could be a benign reason…or maybe not. Too early to tell…
Update from Elizondo: As most of you know, the good news was Tim’s site crashed due to traffic and nothing nefarious. Bad news…I’m still a paranoid CI-guy! A good thing for national security, but a bad thing for Twitter. Mea Culpa! Trying to teach this old dog new tricks is a challenge 🙂
@WilburEsq: Sites crash due to high traffic all the time. Everyone knows this, it has nicknames. Come on.
Elizondo: Ok, maybe I’m not an “Old Dog” but an “Ancient Dog”? My kids laugh at me because I’m probably more comfortable using an abacus rather than a calculator. As for sites crashing, WAAYYY above my pay grade and expertise 🙂 That’s why I leave it to the professionals.
The next tweet Elizondo responded to is now gone because the account associated with it no longer exists. I believe Elizondo was asked about this photo that Tim McMillan wrote about.
Overwhelmingly, everyone The Debrief spoke with said the most striking feature of the recently released UAPTF intelligence position report was the inclusion of a new and “extremely clear” photograph of an unidentifiable triangular aircraft.
The photograph, which is said to have also been taken from inside the cockpit of a military fighter jet, depicted an apparent aerospace vehicle described as a large equilateral triangle with rounded or “blunted” edges and large, perfectly spherical white “lights” in each corner. Officials who had seen it said the image was captured in 2019 by an F/A-18 fighter pilot.
Two officials that received the report said the photo was taken after the triangular craft emerged from the ocean and began to ascend straight upwards at a 90-degree angle. It was indicated that this event occurred off the eastern coast of the United States. Several other sources confirmed the photo’s existence; however, they declined to provide any further specifics of the incident.
Elizondo: Very tough question. I think Tim wrote as much as he could about it. Very hopeful that the photo will be released but that is not my decision nor can I comment. I know its not the answer you want, nor the one I want to provide:(
Elizondo appeared on Coast to Coast AM in late December and announced he was leaving TTSA…
Elizondo: Sometimes to accomplish the mission we must reposition ourselves on the battlefield. That is precisely what is occurring. The battle space is not static. Thanks for asking!
~~~

Elizondo: New dawn, new beginning, same friends…2021 is shaping up to be a banner year. In the midst of shifting into “2nd gear” with plenty of room for all to jump on board!! Thanks to amazing #UFOTwitter and others for your continued support.

@IBKING46: Well, we don’t know what this means, sir. Will you continue to help the public directly or does all this go back into the government and now we citizens are left out again?

Elizondo: We’re doing this to increase public transparency, not go backwards.

~~~
Aliens Exist 15: Was this TTSA departure planned? Give us some hints as to what comes next, Lue!
Elizondo: Our mission was never to increase awareness only in the U.S. It was to ensure a serious global conversation takes place.
~~~

@tommyIzito: Thank you, Lue Elizondo, for not turning your back on us. I never believed you would. But I also never saw the departure coming. The sky is not falling, a new dawn only brings new opportunities. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

Elizondo…

~~~
Elizondo: Congrats to all! It appears the Senate bill funding the Task Force was passed. Job well done by all.Special thanks to D. Johnson for keeping us apprised. Great start for now being in 2nd gear! Special thanks to our friends in DC and Chris Mellon for helping to make this a reality.
~~~

@cxcrcp:Biggest question: Why doesn’t @TTSAcademy and you and others ever address or respond to @DrStevenGreer‘s statements about the militarization and manipulation of disclosure?

Elizondo: I only speak about endeavors that I am familiar with and have personal knowledge of. As such, I cannot comment on the validity or voracity of other people’s endeavors that I’m not engaged.

~~~
Elizondo: A friendly reminder to all that the achievements over the last 3 years are a result in large part to #UFOTwitter.You are proof that together we can achieve the unachievable.You have my humble respect.Thank you!!
~~~

@TolbertAng: So now you go on the Glenn Beck show? Align yourself with nut case extremists and that makes you look like a nut case right-wing extremist. You’re not working towards disclosure or you wouldn’t entertain bald face liars that make you look and sound exactly the same.

Elizondo: I’m sorry you feel that way. I believe this topic is not political and should be discussed by all sides…Conservative, Liberal, and everyone in between. I don’t “align” myself to anyone or any agenda other than disclosure. Disclosure is a non-partisan issue IMHO.

~~~
Elizondo: Sincere Thank you to@blackvaultcom for an engaging conversation. He continues to tremendous work in the field for which I am grateful for. Long live the FOIA King!
~~~

Elizondo: Happy New Years everyone!I believe we are off to a great start and it’s only going to get better. Thanks again for joining us on this wild ride!

~~~
@tommylzito: Serious question….@IronMaiden or @judaspriest? Pick one.
Elizondo: Tommy, Judas Priest only because of “Turbo Lover.” But major respect for “Run To The Hills” and, of course, Ed Force One.
tommylzito: Ed Force One…the greatest accomplishment of any metal band of the 80’s.
Elizondo: Tommy- little known fact that while in AATIP, I tried to convince POTUS to change the name of Air Force One to Ed Force One just for the day. 😂
Ed Force One with Captain Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris
~~~

Elizondo: Big thank you to Billy Cox for your patience and your humor. Still can’t believe you dug up that yearbook photo. My apologies to all those who had to bare the brunt of 1980s fashion and hair.

~~~
@mintyhyperspace: James, you are a true gentleman, great chat the other day!@jamescfox
Sean Cahill & Lue Elizondo at Devils Tower
~~~

Elizondo: Sorry folks for the radio silence lately. Please know that much work and progress is happening behind the scenes. More updates to follow.

~~~
@DarkstarIE: Hey Lue, everyone asks you the UFO and AATIP questions, but, what’s your sport? Baseball, or football? Both? And who’s your team?
Elizondo: Boxing! I never had the coordination to catch an object being thrown at me. My first instinct is to dodge it. 🙂 But if I had to pick, love my Dolphins!
~~~

@DarkstarIE: Thank you both @LueElizondo and @DavidMarceau. Fantastic interview. I always thought of Lue as the kind of down to earth guy you could just chill out, have a beer and watch a ball game with. This shows that’s true. Highly recommended.

Elizondo: Thank you Darkstar. BTW, I like your posts and analysis! Something tells me you have a connection to the USG maybe?

@DarkstarIE: Thank you, sir. I’m not connected with the USG, just a computer engineer, & private pilot. I do work for a Large U.S. corporate though & have worked in the U.S down in Texas, Florida and Huntsville, AL. & loved it. My engineering & scientific mindset is fascinated by the Phenomenon.

@UntitledUAP: Production photo from yesterday: talking UAP inside a canyon.

~~~
@ChaseKloetzke: Oh my gosh! Your support is an example of ‘get your ego ass out of #ufotwitter’! I love our team! We really do support each other!
Elizondo: Thank you Chase, sincerely. Always a team effort, as you know.
~~~

@RealCSharp: I don’t understand. The UAPTF has no funding and they removed the guy who was running it, handing it over to someone two ranks below. But I’ve heard no alarm expressed by @LueElizondo or @ChristopherKMe4. What am I missing?

Elizondo: “Keep calm and carry on.” This is only a minor speed bump in the overall campaign for disclosure. The individuals involved with the TF are competent, rational and motivated. I believe they deserve our support. As for the new UAPTF Director, please know that we are good hands. Chris and I are working with many others behind the scenes to bolster this effort for long term success. I appreciate your concern but have faith! The former UAPTF Director (that replaced me) is a true American hero. However, as all military persons know new duty assignments are always just around the corner. BRAVO for a job well done buddy!!

~~~
Elizondo: Thanks Bob Bigelow for all you have done in this field. Your tremendous investment into AAWSAP and AATIP will always be appreciated. You are very missed, my friend.
Clarifying here – Bob is alive and well, just responding to his interview with George [Knapp].
~~~

@UFOCollage: The man running the program now in the Pentagon is a few ranks lower than @LueElizondo and they’re gonna try and put this back in the box.

Elizondo: There is no putting anything back in the box. We are too far down the tracks to turn the train around.

~~~
@Jamie_Aliens: Lue, can you go into why you left TTSA? The UFO community thought we were making good progress & then you abandoned us with no “official” reason, that I’m aware of.
Elizondo: The battle space is constantly changing and so we must evolve with it. Dividing to conquer is an age old tactic. We remain close to our TTSA friends, but sometimes one must leave the Regiment to flank the enemy…UAP secrecy.
~~~

@HeyLukOverThere: I’m also a father of 2 girls, any advice on what, if anything, I should discuss with them about the phenomenon and its impact on their futures? They know of my interest in the subject, but I shield them from the fear-inducing aspects of it. I wrestle with wanting to inform them about what is happening so they are not completely overwhelmed if “big news” ever sweeps the globe. What would/have you told your girls? Many thanks!

Elizondo: Being a father of 2 daughters myself, I always recommend telling your children the truth while allowing them to decide for themselves its meaning.

~~~
@Emilio93115330: Lue, to this day I’ve been a big fan of yours and your documentary, but after Dr. Greer’s documentary, I am deeply disappointed. I have realized that you are just another tool of your government and you are spreading the wrong message that ETs are a threat to national security.
Elizondo: I am sorry you feel that way. However, please know that I do not view this as a “popularity contest” and instead prefer to rely on facts, and not any one person’s experience or opinion. I respect your position. I sincerely wish you best of luck in your endeavors and God Bless.
~~~

Elizondo: Thank you all for your continued support and engagement on this topic. Alone we are but a lonely ship on the sea of “UFO secrecy”, but together we are a formidable armada storming the beaches. A big thank you to everyone involved!
